Yup, great article and great, sexy dancing! Your “experimenting” is awesome Erika! My experimenting is quite embarassing… One day though… !! =)
What my instructor always told me (which I should bring to the dance floor, like Erika said) was that you can always style in some way and put it to the music. If your partner is holding your hands, then you can do something with the feet, or hips, or chest (body isolations), if your partner is holding your hips, then you can do something gracious with the arms and so on. Yeah, it’s easier said than done, at least for me. hehe

I like the fact that the very first piece of advice is “Relax”. Getting over our nervousness and fear is the most important step to becoming smoother dancers.
