Well, after getting great feedback from all of you, here it is - a more complicated salsa pattern. It is a very long pattern, so take it in strides and small bites. We have named the individual moves to help you piece the entire salsa combination together. Now, because it is Valentine’s Day (soon) - you can have something to practice with that special someone
.Enjoy and if you have questions, please ask it at our forums http://www.addicted2salsa.com/forums/ !
The song used in the episode is “Philadelphia Mambo” by Los Gatos (originally by Tito Puente)

Excellent move. What’s the name of that song. I like the fact that you can hear the conga slap very clearly on the 2 and on the 6.
Very nice moves. And the director’s comments are a nice touch
I want to thank you guys, esp. Anthony for such a wonderful website.
I was introduced to A2S mid 2006 by a friend. That was the time when I was introduced to Salsa. Now that I am a considered a good dancer, I must admit that I learnt so much from this website. Everything put up here is easy to understand and learn. Real teachers apart, I learnt Salsa from you guys.
Please keep it up!
Regards
Nayan
Thanks - Julie and I thank you for your praise. It is good to know that we are helping make a difference in the salsa community.
Can you make a movie about flicks please? With a Latina as follower would be a plus.
We can do one on flicks. However a dancer’s race should not be a precedent to their ability.

Excelente!
English:
I bought the camera at Best Buy - but because I use iMovie (on a Mac), it makes it easier to produce in Hi-Definition.
Again, YOUR donations always help!
Hey Anthony, Great site.
Q’
Is this (the Salsa on the videos) On2 or On1????
Thanks.
We dance the intro on2, explain the move on1 (usually for beginners) and then do the move one last time with on2 counts. We are trying to appeal to both on1 and on2 dancers.
I see. Thanks!
One final question -
What is the relationship or ‘non-relationship’ btwn doing these turns on1 vs on2. I assume one can do the same exact turns on1 and on2… or can’t you? I only dance on2 (geografical predicament) and although I know the steps of on1, I would like to do the turns only on2.
This is starting to sound like MATH.
Great job guys. Thanks for taking the time to share!
Whoa….You even have a microphone. Totally getting into it now.
Thanks for the videos. Which video focuses on dips & lifts if any.
Hey Anthony,
I’m a beginner and wanted to know the difference, if there is any difference, between doing the moves on1 or on2? I’ve been learning everything thus far on1, but noticed you teach both, which is amazing from a beginners view. I also wanted to say that I enjoy your dancing and thank you for providing this type of forum for teaching others, you’re awesome.
Thank you in advance and hope to read from you soon
CJ,
Chicago.
You do both on2 and on1 in the video. Never noticed. Need to look at that again.
