Sumbit your entries - you still have time! [Updatedx1]

We have been getting a lot of questions about our first video dance contest. You have until May 19th, 2008 11:59pm (PACIFIC STANDARD TIME) to submit your video. (Due to time-zones, international contestants have more time to submit). Please remember to keep your video between 20-45 seconds less than 30 seconds in length (a few seconds over is ok - we do not want to hinder creativity, but please no 2+ minute videos for example). Voting will start on May 20th, 2008 (PST). Good Luck!

[Updated] Contest rules state not to exceed 30 seconds. This is highly preferred, however a few seconds over is ok.

    Hey,
We just have one question about the lenght! In the contest rules it states that the video must not exceed 30 seconds, however in the post above you wrote between 20-45 seconds. We have 37 seconds long choreography, therefore should we cut it down to 30 seconds or leave it 37 seconds?

Please let me know ASAP as the deadline is approaching!

Oh, and yeah, we are entering as international contestants :) Still, it’s a lot of fun!

Anthony realized that 30 seconds was a bit short for a full pattern, so it was changed to 45.

Yes, the rules state to not exceed 30 seconds - however we are a bit relaxed (a few seconds over is ok), because we do not want to hinder creativity. For sure anything that is considered too long will be rejected. (we have received some that were more than 2+ minutes)

Anthony, and what about the international contestants?

At first I was thinking of writing that we’re from Minnesota, which would be in a way a bit true as we lived there for a bit (a very little bit), but we’re not residents of the U.S. anyways.

Right now we live in Vienna, Austria as Natasa goes here to ballet school.

Should we then write Vienna, Austria in location and agree that we’re from the U.S. or should this be solved? :)

Definitely put your REAL address, otherwise you won’t receive the prize if you win!!! Somebody in Minnesota may thank you though ;-) We will be requesting more detailed information from whoever wins the top three for prize delivery. We are excited to see your video!

I hope that my 37 sec video will be ok. In those 7 sec we walk up to turn off the camera or we are taking position. So i hope It will be understood.

Oh yeah, that is totally fine! We just want them to be roughly the same (like anthony said, some were over 3 minutes, which just makes it difficult to compare). Thanks!
