Now that Valentine’s Day is upon us we thought it would be appropriate to add some more salsa romance into our dance steps. A lot of our fans are couples who enjoy learning to salsa dance with each other – some have even met through salsa dancing! We hope that salsa dancing continues to bring romance to your relationship and enjoy this salsa dance video lesson! The major tip for the lesson is that adding musicality and style at the right moments can turn any great dance into a memorable one!
As the video below clearly shows, this trainer should probably get psychological help and we need to provide this dog a new home. Just because the song is ‘El Baile del Perrito’, which means ‘The Dance of the Small Dog’, doesn’t mean that you should train your dog to merengue dance in order to get a treat.
YouTube, distributors of the highly popular salsa dance instructional videos of addicted2salsa, have launched a new music feature on their website! The new website feature allows you to type a salsa artist or song, and create a salsa music video playlist with videos that are related to that particular artist or song. This new feature is very similar to Pandora (no, not the Avatar type), where you can create a ‘music radio’ station based on artists that sound similar to a song or another artist.
This is a great way to visually discover new salsa songs and artists! Enjoy!

Continuing last week’s article of Latin cover song remixes, here is more popular remix that is now being used by many salsa choreographers in their performances. This song mixes the famous Coldplay “The Clocks” with the cha-cha-like style of the Buena Vista Social Club.
Thank you to Randy for sending this in.
