Do you like our videos? Are you passionate about salsa dancing? Want to help us grow the worldwide salsa community? Here are few ways you can help us:
It is as simple as buying us a cup of coffee!
To your surprise, Addicted2Salsa is run by Julie and I (Anthony) from our apartment and from our own budget. We are glad to provide all of our Addicted2Salsa dance video episodes free for anyone to learn. However, that does not mean that they are free for us to make. We have a LOT of expenses that come out of our own pocket such as: running a website, costs of renting a studio to film, video equipment, editing software, site bandwidth.. the list goes on and on. Therefore, we appreciate any monetary contributions or donations you are willing to provide us (even if it is just $1.00!). Every little bit helps us teach the current and future generations of salsa dancers. Your donations go directly to our costs, and helps us grow the website to offer new and engaging content. Think of it as if you were buying us a cup of coffee or a beer!
Support Our Sponsors
By supporting our sponsors, not only do you get great products which we use ourselves in our salsa lifestyle, but you also directly support the website! We only accept sponsors whose products we love and think our fans would also enjoy! Our current list of sponsors and promotions are as follows:
- Men’s Dance Shoes : Gabellini – Use Coupon Code: A2S10 for $10 off your next order (limited time).
- Women’s Dance Shoes : Burju Dance Shoes – Use Promo Code ADDICTED2SALSAPROMO for a 10% discount on your next purchase (limited time).
Translations
One of the main goals of Addicted2Salsa is making salsa dancing accessible to all parts of the world. While we may be fluent in English and Spanish, there are a lot of other languages that we don’t speak and would like to cover. We have added links to our video descriptions on http://addicted2salsa.com/videos so that you may provide translations in your native language. In the near future, we are planning on providing subtitles (captions) for different languages for all of our salsa dance videos. For more information, please contact us.
Are you a Graphic Artist, or Web Developer?
We are always looking for ways to improve the addicted2salsa.com website – all the way from the visual design (look and feel) to developing web applications (PHP, Flash, Flex, etc.) that help make salsa, videos, music and events accessible throughout the world. If you are interested in volunteering for the Addicted2Salsa cause, send us an email using the contact form. We are looking for passionate volunteers that might have an artistic or technical background that would like to help grow the Addicted2Salsa community.
Spread the Word
Finally, you can always spread the word about our website and videos to all of your friends who may want to give salsa dancing a try. You can do this by using your social networks such as Facebook, Hi5, MySpace, MeetUp, Twitter, etc. Are you a future instructor? Feel free to use our material and share it with your students! Tell anyone you know, because we salsa dancers thrive when there are more salsa dancers! (Just like telephones).
