You should check out Jelly's on Sunday afternoon.

http://www.jellyscafe.com/

Rumbache is playing and they are in my opinion one of the most underrated bands here in SF...

The weather should be great that day and it's the place to be on Sunday starting at 5pm.

You should check out Glas Kat (http://www.glaskat.com), which has salsa on Tuesday nights. This is by far my favorite regular salsa spot in SF.

Cafe Cocomo (http://www.cafecocomo.com) is another good option. It is a dedicated salsa club so you can go dancing there most nights of the week. Saturday is the most popular night, although Thursday is the real "dancer's night."
